Job burnout had been a focus in the job/work stress study. The teach job was one of the high proportion colonies of job burnout. Teachers of high schools had some unique characteristics. When they were in the state of job burnout, they would influence theirselves, their family, workmates and students. So we study the school teachers from psychology point of view investigating the relations of job control, work family conflict and job burnout.In this study we used the methods of questionnaire and interview to research school teachers. The number of effective subjects was 766. The tools of investigating are MBI-Educators Survey(MBI-ES), Work-Family Conflict and Family-Work Conflict and Control Over Areas of work and Family.The result of study indicate:1. The job burnout states of school teachersThe school teachers have low degree of emotion exhaustion and depersonalisation, and high degree of personal accomplishment. This indicate that the whole job burnout state of school teachers is not serious. Some background factors such as gender, the age of teaching and the title of a technical post influence the state of job burnout. Genders difference is distinct at the factor of emotion exhaustion .The emotion exhaustion of women is distinct higher than men ,the degree of emotion exhaustion and depersonalisation of teachers in second rank of school teaching is the highest. While the personal accomplishment of teachers in second rank of school teaching is the lowest and that of the teachers of high-ranking is the highest.2. The work and family conflict state of school teacherWork and family conflict affects the job burnout of school teachers. The work-family conflict affects the job burnout more than family-work conflict. There is not distinct difference between male and female teachers in work-family conflict, but there is distinct difference between male and female teachers in family-work conflict.
