Integrated practice activity is a curriculum domain offered by our country and developed by regions and schools according to reality. Our country doesn't issue standards for this curriculum, nor draw up documentary materials. This leaves great space for schools and teachers to develop and utilize integrated practice activity curriculum resources. However, as school leaders' and teachers' lack of awareness and abilities in curriculum resources development, on one hand, curriculum resources, especially as conditions for curriculum implementation, are seriously scarce; on the other hand, a large number of curriculum resources which are sources of curriculum elements are wasted, and can't get into the teaching and learning process of integrated practice activity curriculum, causing a lot of valuable curriculum resources unused and wasted. Therefore, the development and utilization of integrated practice activity curriculum resources becomes a problem that needs to be researched and solved.This research chooses Beibei district of Chongqing as the object of case study, because it is one of the first 38 elementary education curriculum reform experimental areas, and it abounds in cultural and natural resources. Meanwhile, as it locates in the edge of downtown Chongqing, there are country schools and city schools, key schools and ordinary schools in this district, this district is representative in some degree.This research applies measures such as documentation, investigation, case study to investigate and categorize community resources in Beibei district available for integrated practice activity curriculum to supply sources for integrated practice activity curriculum in this district. This research also takes "research of Jinyun mountain's ecology and its effect to environment" and "spot investigation of Shaolongguan" as examples to analyze how to transfer natural and humane resources into integrated practice activity curriculum resources. Based on these, this research puts forwards some widely applicable strategies for developing and utilizing integrated practice activity curriculum resources. 1) Comprehensively investigating community resources. 2) Screening community resources. 3) Categorizing and grading curriculum resources after screening. 4) Developing integrated practice activity...
