The paper research mathematics learning strategy and teaching under newcurriculum criterion belief through the investigation and analysis of the background ofnew curriculum reform and the statement of high school students'mathematics learningstrategy. The mathematics learning strategy under new curriculum criterion is defined inthe paper. The paper analyze the structure and character, function, meaning and therelated factor on the basis of theoretic research and practical research and explain theinstruction of mathematics learning strategy under new curriculum criterion. The essaychiefly sets forth the following opinions:1. The first belief of new curriculum criterion is to promote the students'development which can come true through mathematics learning. It have to pay attentionto students'mathematics learning process, that is to say, it need to researchingmathematics learning strategy under new curriculum criterion and how do the studentsgrasp and apply it.2. Mathematics learning strategy under new curriculum criterion is the learners'method and rule of setting up new mathematics recognition structure and accomplishingmathematics learning target with the help of old knowledge experience and recognitionstructure under the particular mathematics learning situation. It includes knowledge andskill, process and method, emotion, attitude and concept of value among them. Processand method is the bridge of the others. Students obtain knowledge and skill throughobservation, experiment, operation, gathers and summarize, introspection and conclusionetc. Accompany with the gain of knowledge and skill, students'standard of using strategyis enhanced. The students'mathematics learning process is also the form process ofemotion, attitude and concept of value. The development of knowledge and skill, emotion,attitude and concept of value promote the students'self-conscious select and effectiveoperation of mathematics learning strategy conversely.3. Mathematics learning strategy under new curriculum criterion have some newcharacters as following: cooperative, it is to say, cooperation must be one of the main wayof mathematics learning, improve the students'abilities of mathematics communication,communicating with mathematics language; active, the mathematics learning process isfilled with observation, experiment, gusset etc, teacher must give out many ways of studyand students take part in it positively; independent, the study of mathematics knowledgeand mathematics learning of mathematics knowledge and mathematics learning strategyboth need the students'initiatively structure, it is the fundamental character ofmathematics learning strategy. Mathematics study environment under new curriculumcriterion has new development in two aspects from mathematics study condition andinformational method. 4. The essay research the theoretic foundation of mathematics learning strategy fromconstructive learning theory, meta-cognitive theory, mathematics education concept etc.Constructive learning theory has directive meaning for mathematics learning. Teachersmust practice the students'mathematics learning strategy under the guide of constructivelearning theory. Meta-cognition and learning strategy include each other. The improvedprocess of meta-cognition ability is the process of students grasp learning, too.Mathematics class belief, mathematics learning belief, mathematics instruction belief, thedevelopment of mathematics educational evaluated belief also promotes the developmentof mathematics learning strategy. 5. The development of students'mathematics learning strategy is affected by internalfactors and external factors. Internal factor affect the mastery and internalization ofmathematics learning strategy and external factor affect the outside process ofmathematics learning. They promote the consciousness of mathematics learning strategyas a whole. Internal factors include mathematics learning motives, mathematics learningattribution model and the development level of mathematics cognitive structure(including the development of mathematics knowledge experience system, mathematicscognitive operation system, mathematics meta-cognitive system); external factors includecircumstance of mathematics learning(including mathematics learning materials,mathematics teachers factor, educational background of school and family) and moderninformation technology.
