The higher vocation education is an important part of higher education and it is an independent branch of the education. It serves the country by cultivating the work people needed on the first production line for the industry of manufacture, construction, management and service. It has its unique character of category and level of education, so it is different from both the middle vocation education and the ordinary higher education. Its course feather is determined by the special qualification of trainees. The courses are the center of training activities and their contents constitute the elements of the training system which embody the function and specialty of training radically. The scientific orientation and reasonable arrangement of courses is the basis for the exact establishment of training quality. The thesis compares and studies the curriculum of higher vocation education in China and foreign developed, analyzing the present situation and development tendency of higher vocation education in our country and defining the quality, function and so on of the curriculum for higher vocation education in our country. Based on the advantages of the curriculum mode borrowed from China and foreign developed countries and combined with the general teaching reform on the key major in the colleges of higher vocation education in our country, the thesis elaborates a "DKD" that is, a new curriculum model for higher vocation education which adapt to the education situation in our country , standing for a large major, broad elementary major knowledge, many major direction. This model is easy to be applied and worth spreading.
