The Students' thinking capability fostering is a sort of lasting and arduous task that every physics education worker is faced with . More and more teacher and specialist have stress on it . This thesis attempt to make a preliminary research towards the students' thinking capability fostering in senior middle school physics teaching combining the knowledge of the thinking theory and the features of senior middle school physics teaching.This article can be divided into three parts. The first chapter puts forward the question of the students' thinking capability fostering. The second chapter expound the definition, features, classifications, quality and forms and introduces two sorts of thinking theory on the Piage theory and the Gestalt school.The third chapter makes a detailed analysis towards the capability fostering of thinking in abstract logic thinking,creative thinking and critical thinking respectively, puts forward some measures, gets some plain knowLedge through some investigation, research and experiments in teaching.
