The Research On Small-Sized Class Teaching

The small-sized class teaching is a new teaching form which comes forth with the development of product and individuation of educational demands, as a heated topic, the task on it has come into being a new specialized field with already many progeny presented in the past 10 years. This thesis aims to make a brief introduction about its background, characteristics, advantages, theory gist, main ideas and teaching strategies.The first part aims to unscramble the main characteristics in different aspects, and this part also indicates why the small-sized class teaching is fit for students' all-around development by comparing with the large-scale class teaching.The second part discusses the origin of small-sized class teaching by analyzing the demand of society, individual and the negative influence under the large-scale class teaching.The third part tries to dissertate the theory gist of small-sized class teaching by the principle to teach students in accordance to their aptitude requires different teaching way, the teaching theory of Constructivism, the theory of multiple intelligence and the teaching theory of Humanity.The fourth chapter briefly generalize the main theory of small-sized teaching, which are as follows: help each student with independent will and special character be success, the teaching contents pay great importance to the conformity of different subjects, the teacher-student relationship is equal and conversant, and teaching estimation focuses a lot on process, multi-ways, which aims to help the students grow initiatively and sufficiently.The last chapter enumerates the main teaching strategies of small-sized class teaching: a group-cooperation teaching strategy, different levels teaching strategies, exploring teaching strategies, the activity-teaching strategy.
