School-based Curriculum is an important component of the school curriculum system, and it forms, together with the national curriculum and the local curriculum, the construction of the " three-stage curriculum " , which should be put into practice in the school. School is its subject of the curriculum-formation. It should be developed and carried out by the school itself, compared to the national curriculum and the local curriculum. This text elaborates the theories and its value of the School-based curriculum Development (SBCD), and the necessity of the SBCD of the No. 1 Middle School of WeiShan, and preliminarily explores the SBCD of the No. 1 Middle School of WeiShan.The whole text is divided into four parts. The first part elaborates the theoretical basis, concept, ideals and values. The second part introduces the existing present state and the significances of the School-based curriculum Development (SBCD) both at home and abroad. The third part makes a feasibility study of developing School-based Curriculum of No. 1 middle school of WeiShan, analyzing its conditions, background and worth. The four part makes concrete plan, arrangement and deployment on the process of developing School-based Curriculum of No. 1 middle school of WeiShan; and also evaluates achievements, which can be concluded as the improvement of the researching-study ability of the school students, and that of the professional skill level of the school teachers, and also composing the materials related to the School-based Curriculum of No. 1 middle school of WeiShan (enclosed after this text).
