Since the beginning of the new century,in the face of the development of world situation and demand for quality education and diverse talents,a new round of basic education curriculum reform has been comprehensively launched,among which school-based curriculum development is one of the key points.History,as a humanities discipline,must effectively use and adapt to local conditions,develop various curriculum resources,actively promote quality education,and take fostering integrity and promoting rounded development of people as the fundamental task of education is a problem that every history teacher should think through.This study selects the central urban area—Jiang'an District and one of the junior middle school—Wuhan Y School,which can best represent the historical-cultural traditions of Wuhan and the level of history school-based curriculum of Jiang'an District in order to research on "History on Tiptoes".With the help of the interview method,questionnaire method,literature research method and field inspection method,individually,the research is carried out from the following four aspects.The first part analyzes the background,purpose,and significance of history school-based curriculum development,and determines the main content and method of this research by summarizing the development status;the second part excavates the theoretical,policy,and realistic basis of the school-based curriculum "History on Tiptoes";the third part takes a research on the specific implementation process and evaluation mechanism of "History on Tiptoes" school-based curriculum development through the actual case study;the fourth part summarizes the effectiveness and shortcomings of the school-based curriculum development of "History on Tiptoes".The development of "History on the Toes" has perfected the curriculum system of Wuhan Y school and is a good reference and value to Jiang'an District and Wuhan as well.The development of the history school-based course "History on Tiptoes" starts from the deepest,narrowest,and smallest areas of students 'emotions,which can inspire students' love for their hometown and identification with the motherland.Starting from the subtleties around students,interpreting the national curriculum through the stories and history around them,this course helps students integrate the history and stories around them into the stream of history,lets the patriotism shine as the core of the national spirit,and truly cultivate student,modern citizens,with moral values and feelings of homeland and country.
