Research On The Perception Of Talented People Within Globalization

With the development of science and technology, world multi-polarization and economic globalization are fluctuating and progressing. It is well known that fierce competition between nations now and in the future is really the competition for the most talented individuals. Since the founding of People's Republic of China, especially during the period of China's reform and opening up, people's attitude toward "Talent" has changed significantly. Although China has made amazing achievements in developing "Talent", there are still some confused ideas about talented people, for example, there is rarely enough "Talent", no rational plan to nuture talent and there is also a contradiction between talent ie, highly education and the creativity which is needed to meet our ever-changing needs. Now we are facing various global challenges and to some extent, the fiercest one is the challenge of nurturing appropriate talents. However , to develop new talents, we first need to change our concept of what talent is. Only if scientific concept of talent is set up with fully understanding of its connotation can we foster millions of high quality laborers , specially trained personnel with talents of creativity. Is this the way to turn our nation into a genuinely powerful one with a rich resource of talent? I believe this is the way.This paper first discussed the transition of concept of talent throughout Chinese history, especially the situation before and after China's reform and opening-up, and then seeks to obtain some regular patterns. Besides, in view of global challenges before us, it talks about new problems and new situations that our talents are still encountering. The paper also advances some new ideas, such as re-thinking the concept of talent, re-thinking our training system and perfecting the system of placing the right person in the right job. The paper focuses on the changing of our concepts and system of education . If we can solve these problems, we will be able to meet the challenges positively and vigoriously.
