The Exploration On Participating Chinese Teaching

As the reform of the new courses constantly advances, whether thestudents can actively participate in teaching has been a first concern. In2001 State Education Commission published "Basic educational coursereform outline" emphasizing the students' active participation in studyand active attitude toward study. So it becomes a significant and urgenttask in the current Chinese teaching to make the students participate inteaching actively, on which I did some study.The article is mainly made up of five parts. In the first part, thedefinition and necessity of participating in teaching will be stated, whichhelps to change the fact that the students excessively depend on theirteachers and passively accept knowledge leading to their unwillingness toparticipate in teaching in class, and satisfies the requirements of thereform.In the second part, the theory base of participation based on bodyeducational theory, developing education idea and frame study theory willbe stated. Body education plays much attention to the students'participation. Without students' active participation, body is onlypotential body. While framework supposes learners should accept theinformation not passively but actively, which can be achieved nothingwithout students' share. However, developing educational ideasemphasizes students' development by developing their conscious activity.The third part illustrates two principles that participating Chineseteaching should follow. One is overall principle which requires that everystudent should be engaged in study actively instead of only a few topstudents sharing it and that every student play an active part in the wholeteaching process by involving in not only outside sense organs like sensesand action but also deep thinking. The other is level principle. Because ofthe differences in elementary knowledge, basic skills, study methods,attitude and so on, following level principle helps students of differentlevels study better in the way of group cooperation.Considering the situation of the students participating in study, theforth part refers to the measures in participating Chinese teaching. First ofall, the teachers should break away from old teaching ideas replaced bythe new ones, create participating atmosphere, and build democratic andequal teacher-student relation, which will excite their interest andstimulate their enthusiasm, making the students get rid of the negativeparticipating attitude and bad habits. Second, teachers should performopen teaching and enlarge participating scope, including open teachingaim, teaching contest, teaching time, exercises and after-class activities,all of which require the students to attend and can meet the needs of thestudents of different levels. Third the teachers should carry out teachingactivities, making the students participating in it. Only by doing like thiscan it reflect the students' main part and can the students acquire thepleasure from active study. Finally, net teaching should be made of toimprove teaching efficiency. The characteristic of net teaching providesbetter conditions for participating Chinese teaching and makes studentsparticipate in all kinds of teaching activities quickly and efficiently.The last part deals with participating Chinese teaching evaluation,including two parts. One introduces the value trend in participationChinese teaching. First of all, evaluation aim is achieved by helpingstudents develop and the feedback of the evaluation and the students' selfexamination will help them participate actively and efficiently andeventually result in their development. Second, evaluation puts stress onthe students' participation and main effects. Students can realize thedifferences between themselves and the demand of evaluation moredeeply and meet the demand of evaluation more actively. Third,evaluation principles emphasize efficiency, including the width and deepof the students' participation, the facts of cooperation. The other refers tomeans of participation Chinese teaching evaluation: files evaluation. Itintroduces the concept, the reason and means of using files evaluation.
