Vocational education is an important part of the educational cause in our country. Since the reform and opening, relatively great development in Chinese vocational education has been achieved. However, because the positioning of the curriculum objectives is not explicit enough, the vocational education from the 1980s up till today has basically imitated the ordinary secondary specialized schools, having no its own characteristics. This leads to the result that graduates from vocational school education have neither relatively rich theoretical knowledge nor professional skills, and can not meet the needs of the society at all. Therefore, starting with the status quo of the secondary vocation school education (SVSE), the author searched problems in curriculum arrangement, the ways of practice exploration and its developing prospects, etc.In part one, the author discussed the curriculum objectives of SVSE, listed three major points of views on the curriculum objectives, analyzed the dual characters of the three views in practice, explored the theoretical positioning of the curriculum objectives, and tried proposing the curriculum objectives of vocational education.In part two, the author, starting with the status quo of SVSE, had a deep-going analysis of the problems in arrangements, contents, objectives, reasons and ways of the curriculum of SVSE, holding that there is no connection between the status quo of SVSE and the social need for the vocational skilled talents.In part three, the author searched the practice of SVSE reform. Taking as examples two majors (automobile driving and repairing, road and bridge )in fuxin highway school of Liaoning province, the author proposed two-stage curriculum structure reform (wide basis , flexible mode ) in the process of SVSE and analyzed its significance, approach and practice, and particularly emphasized practice teaching in the curriculum arrangement. The author held that the key point in the curriculum reform of SVSE is to present vocational characteristics, strengthen vocational skill training and totally improve students' vocational competence.Combining the status quo of the author's school, the author proposed the following suggestions in terms of curriculum reform in SVSE. First, stress specialized competence training and stimulate curriculum comprehensiveness; second, precede curriculum reform characterized by "wide basis, flexible mode"; third, draft the curriculum reform plan as well as proceed and assess the curriculum management; forth, look into the future of the curriculum reform in SVSE. The author suggested keeping vocational competence as the core, developing the curriculum reform of SVSE, correctly handling the contradiction of theory with practice as well as the relationship between "entering higher education" and "obtaining employment", and continuously stimulating the comprehensiveness of the curriculum structure.
