Information technology, based on computer multimedia technology, has been applied into mathematical teaching for about ten years. It is widely acknowledged that the integration of information technology into education has positive impact on students' learning. This study intended to investigate the impact of information technology on senior high school students' mathematics attitude and mathematics thinking. The study followed the methodology of action research, that is, teachers are researchers. From the result of the mathematics thinking test and the attitude questionnaire as well as the analysis of three teaching cases, it was found that information technology had positive impact on the students' mathematics attitude and their mathematics thinking as well as their ability to work out mathematical problems. This study provides teaching implications on how to integrate information technology into mathematics teaching and how to improve students' mathematical thinking to their greatest extent with the help of information technology.
