In the 21st century, the rapid development of information technology has a great effect on modern mathematics teaching, thus making mathematics teaching features'unprecedented variety take place .The integration of information technology and mathematics teaching has become a main trend in international mathematics teaching reform, and of course it is also a hot topic in mathematics teaching home and abroad. Information technology has set up a platform for mathematics teaching and studying.In 2006, Liaoning Province adopted the courses'reform .it is necessary for us to study the integration of information technology and mathematics teaching. The thesis states the principles of methods of cultivation of creativity and practical ability according to the text book (Senior Mathematics for China student's Book 1 by People's Education Press ) and the methods of teaching and learning. Through information technology , we can change the present teaching structure and improve the teaching methods and teachers'belief and make the students undertake the mathematics experiments.The thesis states the background and the present state of integration of information technology and mathematics teaching and its concept. Then it states the theory of integration of information technology and mathematics teaching. The thesis mainly states the great role of the topic and new belief of teaching design. Through two examples, the relationship and advantage of traditional means and modern means are discussed. Finally, the thesis points out the aspects worth thinking over and other problems remaining to be solved.
