The series of books of UNESCO "To Survive-The Present and Futureof Education World" indicates: "The ultimate end of education is to cultivate perfect man " . Skimming over the trends of the world educations, we see obviously the more and more humanization of education. The humanistic education has been highly valued in the world education. The cultivation of students ' humanistic spirit is now receiving great attention. Influenced by the knowledge-oriented education for a long time, our fundamental education neglects the cultivation of students ' humanistic spirit, which is not fit for the need of innovator under the times of knowledge economy. By analysis of the predecessors' achievement in the humanistic education and the current Chinese education situations emphasizing "Tools" ignoring "Humanization", this article makes more systematically and complete study of Chinese Reading Teaching in middle school, expecting to offer some help for it' s development. The article can be divided into six parts:Part one: on background and significance of the article.Part two: on Chinese Reading Teaching situations in middle school.Part three: on strengthening the necessity of humanistic education in middle school.Part four: on humanistic education intension and significance. Part five: on executing basic principle of humanistic education ofChinese Reading Teaching in middle school.
