A Study For Countryside Environment Education In Geography Teaching Of Rural Middle School

Agriculture and countryside environment connect closely with human's survival. The heavy and extensive environmental pollution in village threats local district and even poses great risk to the whole ecosystem. In order to build a complete well-off and harmonious society, we must develop a new socialistic village with good environment. Because "Education is the foundation of environment protection", the research on rural environment education is very practical.Considering the increasingly worse countryside environment and poor education for it, this paper emphasizes the necessity of rural environment education in rural middle school, discusses the irreplacable advantage of Geography teaching of rural middle school in Countryside Envir. Edu. and furthermore, study how to introduce Countryside Envir. Edu. in Geography Teaching.It is surveyed that resulting from extensive agricultural production, poor township planning, industrial pollution transmitting from cities to village, the generally backward environmental sense among rural people, the environment there becomes worse and worse. The author finds a heavy loss of environment education in rural middle school in China. The thesis first explores the important of rural environment education in rural middle school and the superiority of Geography as a tool for environment education by analyzing the features of school teaching and Geography teaching. Then absorbing advanced environment protection ideas and measures, the author designs several question papers on countryside environment education and holds some social practice. Moreover, emphasizes the efficient ways to introduce Countryside Envir. Edu. inGeography Teaching, that is to devolve into Geography textbook, improve the teaching content of rural Geography, apply case teaching and extracurricular activities to environment education in countryside, etc.
