Rural mountain environment is an important part of the global ecological environment,and the protection of it is related to the safety of the entire ecological environment.With the development of economy,the rural mountain environment has also suffered a certain degree of damage. In order to protect the rural mountain environment and achieve sustainable development between the.human and the environment, environment education must be conducted,which has special meanings to middle school students,whose world outlooks and life outlooks are forming at the special ages.According to the deteriorating environment education and the lack of environment education in rural mountain areas,the paper proposes the importance and necessity of environment education in rural mountain areas in secondary schools,discusses the feasibility and advantages of middle school geography education in rural mountain environment education,and further explores the infiltration routes of geography teaching in secondary schools.The survey shows the production mode in rural mountain areas is quite extensive,the villagers' environment awareness is weak,and the mountain environment continues to deteriorate.Through practice we also find that environment education in secondary schools in rural mountain is seriously deficient.This paper illustrates the purpose and significance of environment education,summarizes the characteristics of rural mountain environment,the main environmental issues and the main reasons for environment problems,and then designs a questionnaire in accordance with the environment education in rural mountain areas.Through environment protection social practice activities and a variety of tests inside and outside the classroom,with the main characteristics and the content of the environment education in rural mountain middle schools, the paper focuses on the main channels of environment education in geography teaching in the rural mountain the secondary school to further deepen environment education through a variety of practical activities. Eventually,the paper proposes to make full use of the advantages of geography courses to infiltrate environment education;according to the requirements of the new curriculum reform,adopts open -teaching, research curriculum and outdoor teaching methods to promote the targeted and flexibility of environment education in secondary schools in rural mountain areas.
