Status Of School Education Of Children Left Behind Economically More Developed Regions And Countermeasures

The hometown-remained children will be a social group. The education problems of them are unique for China. The problems of education for them have become an important topic during the construction of harmonious socialist society, and it is also a challenge in our socialist construction process. The key to solve these problems of hometown-remained children is to take active and protective actions according to the situation of our country. The education reform for these children should be one of the most important parts of the whole education reform and development.Through the investigation about hometown-remained children of primary schools and junior middle schools in Sanmen County of Zhejiang Province which is an economical relatively developed area, I labor their present situation of school education and analyze the causes of their school education problems from the aspects of social, family and school factors which could affect their growth and the characters of their somatopsychic development. Lack of home education,lack of the school concerned, and at the national system level lack of powerful measures to guarantee the educational rights of children were found to be key problems related to the school education of hometown-remained children. So I propose measures to solve their school educational problems. From different points of view such as school environments to optimize a useful lesson, strengthen construction of a boarding school and so on, the author suggests people should provide hometown-remained children with an excellent education environment to have them grow well in it.
