By analyzing the actuality of teacher education in China, we find out that the reform of teacher education curriculum should be the focus. Among the activities of curricula, curriculum development, implementation and evaluation are in the center. In our opinions, the theories about curriculum development need pay more attention nowadays, so the body of this thesis is about the model of teacher education curriculum development in our normal university. The thesis can divide into three parts:The first part is about the status in quo of teacher education curriculum development in our normal university. The problems of teacher education curriculum development in our normal university appear as follow: be short of theoretic guidance and clear goal of curriculum, the content and structure and evaluation of curriculum are also problematic. In short, the central problem of our teacher education curriculum development is the absence of the model of teacher education curriculum development.The second part is to define the conception of the model of teacher education curriculum development in our normal university. In our opinions, the level of teacher education curriculum development belongs to training scheme;the factors of teacher education curriculum development should include: the objective of curriculum, the content and structure of curriculum, the evaluation of curriculum. So, the model of teacher education curriculum development is the structure of the relationships among these factors.The third part is to construct the model of teacher education curriculum development in our normal university. In our opinions, the forms of the models of teacher education curriculum development in any university are the same;what is different is the content of the models. So, the point of the construction of the model of teacher education curriculum development in our normal university is to construct the content of the factors of teacher education curriculum development.
