The elementary education curriculum reform, stressing that "learner-centred", which needs to pay attention to students' psychological phenomenons and activities laws. This article through theoretical analysis, refers to several classes and grades partial students' investigation interview in the NO.l middle-school of Huojia County, Henan Province, as well as refers to several Chinese and foreign scholars' investigation results, analyzes the psychological factors which affect the middle-school student's history study.In the first part of the article, In the light of the Cognitivist Orientation learning theory and the Constructivism Orientation learning theory, I analyze middle-school student's psychological process in the history study from "former cognitive stage— sensation stage—memory and maintenance stage—understanding stage—application stage". When students study history knowledge, under the participation of "the former cognition", they receive stimulation of history information, transform them into the historical images which are stored in the brain, when need can withdraw at any time, and after the historical understanding process of "concept—judgment—inference", they form to the understanding of history phenomena, historical things attributes, links and relations and the essential laws. At last they use the understanding and knowledge to solve new issues or practical problems.In the second part of the article, I analyze the internal factors which affect the history study, including cognitive and non-cognitive factors. Once starts the history study, the former cognition intervene in study process and have the influence, its influence can be divided into assimilation and complying. Students needs to turn the sensation historical materials into individual knowledge, they must have the cognition psychological structure which receives and understands those sensation historical materials, and the more important cognition psychological structure is historical thinking ability. However, in the history study process, students' cognition development ability differences are not often remarkable, the weak performance of non-cognitive factors frequently, mainly including: motivation, interest, study attitude, the will and self-evaluation.
