The aims of study to understand how geography teachers promote interaction in their class based on web, and what are their obstacles and suggestions when they put it in action. The study also analyses factors influencing interaction in geography teaching based on web, and provides those findings for future geography teaching.There are many types of teaching interaction found in geography class based on web at first .Multiple data gathering methods are used including interviewing many geography instructors, analyzing some geography course web pages and observing their interaction in geography class. The findings include:The factors influencing interaction in geography teaching based on web, include teachers, learners, and geography teaching environment. There are many factors influencing interaction including teacher's attitude towards learners, technology of computer and teaching, time of teacher. But student's computer technology, different character, badness of learner will also influence interaction in class. In environment, there are many factors influencing teaching interaction including such as classroom environment, stability of class web system, design of geography learning material on web.Teachers use answering questions, handing schoolwork, drawing rule and adding ways, and so on to promote teacher-learner interaction. It is to promote learner-learner interaction teachers use working together, appointing assistant, offering function of sharing in geography writing and encouraging help each other. About learner-content interaction, Teachers use increasing ways of stakeout, offering diversity of geography schoolwork, training technology of interaction and enhancing design of web pages.According to those findings, suggestions are made for the practice and research of geography teaching in future. |
