With the quick and deep reform of the elementary education curriculum in China, curriculum resources reveal its importance day by day. The direction and results of the innovation of curriculum theory, development of curriculum resources and compatibility of curriculum system are the urgent need to reform and practice the current elementary educational curriculum. In the vast minority areas, the potential resources are rich, but the education condition is backward. The diversity and poor use of fold art curriculum resources is the principal contradiction. People shouldn't import or transplant so-called modern art curriculum, which leads to limited actual effects because of the practical conditions. Then, it's the more important task for people to tap the latent superiority, develop and use the rich folk art curriculum resources according to the local conditions.The paper inquires into the theory of folk art curriculum resources from Kulturpadagogik, Multicultural Integration Education Theory, R.W.Tyler's Curriculum Principle, course teaching theory based on surrey, which aims to put forward a kind of theory and an idea for the development of folk art curriculum in minority areas, put forward reference and consultation for the development of other curriculum resources. Also, the paper aims to foster and promote the artistic appreciation of folk art, take shape of the awareness, feeling and will, inherit and develop folk art and make pattern of diversity in unity succeed.The paper is divided into 5 parts:The first part is the introduction including the research cause, theoretical base, thought and method, focal points, difficult points, innovations, literature summary and related definitions.The second part is the analysis of folk art curriculum resources, including its implication, classification and characteristics.The third part is the present developing situation and analysis of folk art curriculum resources in Shi Lin county, including the general surrey of folk art resources of the county, theoretical knowledge and existing problems of folk art curriculum resources from the aspects of the knowledge, system and theory among schoolmasters, administrators, art teachers and students.The fourth part is the theoretical conception of the development of the folk art curriculum resources, which is the focal point of the paper, including the development goal, contents selection, exploitation and assessment of the development of folk art curriculum resources, among which the focal points are the first parts. The paper puts forward the aim of development of folk art curriculum resources: to accommodate art curriculum to the students in minority areas and improve their personal characters, to strengthen the curriculum perception of the folk art's teachers in minority areas and their professional development, to inherit and develop folk art, to compile the local art course, to innovate the art curriculum and to make the schools have their own...
