Nowadays, Chinese fundamental education is in profound reformation period. Especially the reform experiment of fundamental education is wonderful and various, swept forward magnificently, and poured into unprecedented vitality and activity for all-out driving quality education. In June 2001, the State Council held nationwide conference and set the file"Reformation and Development of Fundamental Education". We have had the opening and reforming policy, made a decision on innovation and development of fundament Education. When it was sent out, Chinese fundament education was propelled extremely. What kind of teaching mode to be used to train the students'invented spirit and practical ability to make them developed on all sides has became a problem that our educators and educating workers should eagerly explore and solve.Based on educating practice, I thought about the question how to elaborate the main part of students during their study activities. I considered that inquiring learning method in biology teaching of Senior High school could make for widening students'vision and realizing infection between knowledge, ability and quality and improvement each other. It is an effective way to improve the educating and teaching quality in Wuhai district to improve the inquiring ability of the student.Combined my teaching practice, I analyzed carefully the meaning and the character of exploratory study. At the same time, also I stressed the necessity and urgency that our school carried it out. I questioned my own opinion on how to use it and briefly illustrated evaluation of the measures in training senior students'inquiry learning ability in biology teaching. To cultivate students'inquiry learning ability, we should make the most of thenew textbook, focus on students'responses and enable students to solve practical problems, make sufficient use of what they have learned at school.It is proved that this mode has brought a great change in biology education in our school after more than two years. Of course, it gave rise to some new problems that should be probed and solved further, and discuss with relative experts to find final solutions.
