The mental mode of career planning is the knowledge and experience gradually formed in one's growth, and the use of such knowledge to explain his career-choosing behavior, make general judgment and drive himself to choose his career finally. Undergraduates' mental mode is the structured knowledge and belief related to career planning.Given that current related theories on career planning only rest on the surface, this study began with its basic mental mechanism, and based itself on the dynamic, inner-directed concept of mental mode to provide an overall and constructive theoretic basis for undergraduates' career planning. It revealed the content, structure and influential factors of this mental mode, and helped to the exploration of its related theoretical construction from the perspective of implicit mechanism. Meanwhile, the theories of this mental mode offered new training materials for human resource training, revealed its direct effect on career planning and its influential power for individuals' further development, and experienced much on the theoretical construction related to mental mode. The results of this study were as follows:(1) The mental mode of career planning included the knowledge and belief related to career planning.(2) The compiled "Questionnaire of Undergraduates' mental mode of career planning" and "Scale of Maturity Degree of Undergraduates' Career Planning" had relative good stability.(3) The mental mode of undergraduates' career planning was different with the different degree of their career planning. The mental mode of high degree group was significantly superior to that of low group.(4) Individual factors, such gender and grade significantly influence the mental mode. Male mental mode was superior to the female; and the mental mode of different grade was different, in which the mental mode in grade one was relatively unstable, and the mental mode in grade three was the most stable and the mental model in grade four was fluctuated because of many factors.(5) Career ability, career interest and disposition were significantly related to the mental mode. Career ability had the most influential power. Disposition was negatively related to the mental mode, which indicated that when the score on disposition was lower, disposition was more stable and the mental mode and its openness was better.(6) Environmental factors, object-decision factors significantly and extensively influenced undergraduates' mental mode of career planning, but they each concentrated on different parts.
