Since the rapid expansion of graduate students enrollment from 1999, the number has increased rapidly. The innovation of postgraduates has become hotspot issue in higher education field. With the improvement of higher education degree, the education of postgraduate is becoming more and more important. So we must expedite the speed of development, and enhance the quality of education. Make postgraduate become elite in all walks of life in our society. The upshift of higher education massification to the top gradually makes the number of postgraduate inflate in short time, appearing congested character. The expansion of the enrollment makes the deepest problem emerge in the field of postgraduate. The quality of postgraduate has become a serious problem, which is concerned by the society. The thesis analyze the requirement to the postgraduate from several parts: development scale, cultivation target , cultivation pattern , and quality assessment. The thesis analyze the actuality of postgraduate cultivation, problem existed in the past and countermeasure we should take. The thesis can be divided into four parts:part 1: definite the quality of postgraduate under the background of higher education massification and arise the requirement to the education of postgraduate.Part 2: expound significance of enhancing quality of Postgraduate in the background of higher education massification from three parts.Part 3: analyze the quality and existed problem from several parts: enrollment system, curriculum setup , tutor rank, scientific research ability , management pattern.Part 4: arise the correlative countermeasure to the five problemsResearch aim:The first session World Higher Education Conference which was held in Paris in 10th 1998 arose the three slogans of development and innovation in 21 century of higher education—"pertinence" "quality" "internationalization". The "manifesto" , "action frame" and the "adherence to policy documents" of United Nations UNESCO expound the importance of enhancing the quality of higher education in 21th century from several angles. Postgraduate education is most important component of higher education, and the quality of fostering is lifeline .Their standard and quality is importanttarget to judge academical college. So, the main aim to study the quality of are postgraduate : l.disscuss and analyze the quality of postgraduate after the expansion of enrollment using the theory of educational field. 2. arise constructive conclusion to promote the quality of postgraduate.The research method:The thesis use qualitative research mainly and quantitative research subordinate^ applying specific research method synthetically:1. theoretic research: apply pedagogy, educational management and social systematic science to analyze and research the quality of postgraduate under the background of massification.2. synthetical research: analyze and research effective way to quarantee the quality of postgraduate...
