With the development of the society, the requirements for the secondary vocational schools' graduates have changed a lot. English in secondary vocational education has been a headache and ignored subject both for students and the education committees, which causes an embarrassed situation of English teaching. Vocational education is different from general education and it should embody its vocational features. English for Special Purpose (ESP) is a kind of English related to a specific occupation or course or purpose. The aim of it is to meet various learners' needs and the biggest feature of it is applicable. It directs the right way for the English teaching in vocational schools.
