To high school graduates, filling up College Entrance Voluntary Table is important in the development of their career and is also their first and most important step in choosing their vocational course, the results of which directly affects individual career development. But in reality, most students at that time was not quiet sure about the direction of their future career. Some get totally lost in it; some count on others' advice; some have their choice based on further exploration; some are lost and anxious about it. Therefore, a good research of their vocational values, vocational interest, self-concept and effects of their significant others has theoretical significance to the development of their career as well as practical significance to their filling up College Entrance Voluntary Table. The same is true of the research of that relationship between these elements and their career development.The research methodologies of surveys, statistical data analysis, and documentation are applied here. In a survey that covers 382 high school graduates and 172 s from 4 high schools, the students' vocational values, vocational interest, self-concept, and the relationship between them are being discussed. The effects have as significant others on the shaping of their children's career values are also discussed in the survey.Hereinafter are the conclusions drawn from it :1,There are close relationships among vocational values, career interests and self-concept. There is interaction and mutual influence among them.2, There is a difference in vocational values between different genders as well as different disciplines. Girls focus more than boys on the development factors; those studying science more than those studying arts. Overall, high school graduates give priority to the development factor. Health factor is placed at the second place; prestige factor the last.3, There is a difference in vocational interest between different genders as well as different disciplines. More boys than girls tend to choose reality-based, research-based career;more girls art-based, community-based career.4,There is a difference in self-concept between different genders as well as different disciplines.
