| The Action Program of Promoting the 21-century Education puts forward the notion of forming open educational network and constructing lifelong learning system. As we know, fundamental education, as an important part of education, is always being regarded as a basic stage of laying a foundation for the fulfillment of one's whole life. To meet the needs of the educational development, some demonstration senior high schools are putting the campus informationization into practice overall. They are actively exploring the Modern Distance Education on all sides. They've already set up a primary hardware environment and developed some softwares. Besides, they have begun to train their teachers to get used to the Distance Education. All they have done promoted the development of Modern Distance Education and have made rapid progress.To reach the goal of developing balanced fundamental education and the fairness of education, the author emphasizes on sharing high quality educational resources and constructing demonstration senior high schools in Gansu. This thesis focuses on studying the implementation of the Modern Distance Education in demonstration senior high schools in different aspects. This thesis is made up of six parts.The 1st part is the introduction about the background of this program and the situation of current related research as well as the contents of this research.The 2nd part analyzes the development of demonstration senior high schools and the present situation of fundamental education informationization. The author points out it is the implementing of Modern Distance Education that is the most effective way to share and expand high quality educational resources.The 3rd part analyses the basic concept and principles of Modern Distance Education. The author also gives a general description of Modern Distance Education at home and abroad.In the 4th part, the author carried out a survey among the students who are being trained for Modern Distance Education. After analyzing the applied model of Modern Distance Education in demonstration senior high schools, the author predicts the tendency of developing Modern Distance Education in demonstration senior high schools and also puts forward some suggestions.In the 5th part, the author introduces some cases of carrying out Modern Distance Education in demonstration senior high schools. Based on his own teaching experience, the author puts forward some practical strategies and a co-operation model for setting up the Alliance of Network Courses for high-quality classes in demonstration senior high schools of Modern Distance Education.The 6th part is the conclusion. After discussing in details and evaluating the research results, the author points out some disadvantages and set a goal for further research in the future. |
