Practice And Study On The Development And Utilization Of English Curriculum Resources

Because of the abundant English curriculum resources, developing and utilizing various curriculum resources is an important part of the implement of English curriculum and is also significant to the change of students' study methods and the professional development of teachers. Therefore, in this thesis we focus on the practice of the development of English curriculum resources and the utilization of English curriculum resources in English teaching, on the basis of the cognition of theories of curriculum resources.Firstly, we introduce the present condition of the research into English curriculum resources, analyze the concept, classification and characteristics of English curriculum resources and explicit the contents of English curriculum resources in this research.Secondly, we elaborate the theory foundation of research, Krashen's Input Hypothesis and Information-Processing Psychology, and educe the research enlightenment, which provides theoretical guidance for the practice of the development and utilization of English curriculum resources.Thirdly, we attach much importance to the practice of the development of English curriculum resources, the practice of the utilization of English curriculum resources in English teaching, and the evaluation of English curriculum resources and English teaching.We put forward that English curriculum resources can be developed mainly in the following aspects: make best use of the English textbook according to teaching practice; develop English network resources with the help of modern medium technology; develop English literature resources according to students' needs; develop English newspaper and magazine resources according to hot issues; develop broadcasting and televising resources to broaden ways of input and develop English resources in students' daily life.
