With the continuing progress in educational reform and accumulation of experiences, people increasingly recognize that teachers take an important role in educational reform. Under the influence of educational reform, the Instruction Theory study begins pay attention to the theory of Teaching Style.The study adopts the Qualitative Research to analyzing the course of forming Teaching Style from the view of individual upspring, and discovering the active facts that underlie in the process of forming Teaching Style.The study uses purposeful sampling method to select out one top-class teacher who teaches Chinese in primary school with distinctive Teaching Style. By means Interview,non-participant class observation and document analysis, the author accumulates plenty of materials. The findings as follows:The forming process of this teacher's teaching style has included Imitation, Innovation and Mature period. The teaching during first to three years is considered as the period of Imitation: characteristic by imitation, emphasis upon absorbing other teacher's successful experiences, more reply on the predecessor's experiences and references and fixed teaching procedure. From the teacher's teaching life between the third to sixteenth year refers to the period of Innovation: the teacher's teaching gradually shakes off the yoke of imitation, and the independent purpose of teaching tends to distinctive, the consciousness of forming unique teaching style becoming more and more clearly. After the sixteenth years in his teaching profession is the period of the Mature: this step has the feature of individuality. From that time, the teacher's teaching style presents the steady and consistent features.In the forming process of teaching style, the teacher's teaching imitation getting fewer and fewer while his creativity inclined to be more and more, and eventually found his own teaching style.
