Study On Vocational Education And Migration Of Rural Surplus Labor Force In Our Country

Rural surplus labor force (RSLF) migrating from the first industry to the second and third industries plays an important role in designing and coordinating the development of city and countryside; building the well-off society in an all-round way and instituting socialist harmonious society. There are so many low-quality labor forces in our country that made up of an undisputed fact. Among them, the quality of rural surplus labor force are very important which confines their ranges they will step into, work type and their stability.Vocational education (VE) is direct and tight component of educational cause with the social economic development, shouldering the task of cultivating the high-quality labor and all walks of talents with special skill. VE is a bridge and bond of transforming the science and technology into realistic productive force.The quality of labor force are improved by developing VE, moreover, they can migrate from countryside to cities which worked at non-agricultural industries with order, stability and high-status. The last but not the least, Developing VE can improve the farms'incomes, narrow the distance of countryside and cities, which benefit the construction of the integration of countryside and cities.Based on the theory of labor market, this paper keeps an eye on the effect and correlative operation of VE in the migration of surplus labor force and puts forward the concrete measures, which have great meaning in both theory and reality.In the first place, migration of RSLF and its significance were introduced. Secondly, in terms of the function and characteristic of VE, emphasized that VE will play a vital part in migration of RSLF. Thirdly, on the basis of labor market and supply &demand theory, analyzed the problems in VE to the migration of RSLF.Finally, this paper advanced with methods and strategies for the century subject of VE coping with the migration of RSLF: taking service as tenet; innovation as motive; employment as orientation; quality-assurance as premise.
