Classroom is the main place of school education, and classroom study is the basic form for human cultural heritage. The research of classroom culture has been a trend, and plays a central role in improving the quality of teaching. Since 90's in the 20th century, the reform of classroom teaching has been regarded as the major part of the reform of teaching all around the world. The so-called "reconstruction of the classroom culture" has been promoted in most western countries.The core of the classroom culture is the common classroom spirit, the teaching principle, and teaching behavior that have been formed during the long-term classroom teaching. It is consciously followed and carried out by both the teachers and the students. The classroom culture construction has attracted the attentions of many academic and educational scholars. However, the problem is that many middle-class vocational schools still lack the research interest and depth of the classroom culture. The classroom culture construction has always been unconsciously overlooked or forgotten during the construction of modern vocational schools. So, the classroom culture construction of the middleclass vocational school is helpful to promote the reform of the vocational school teaching. Meanwhile, it is an unavoidable way to upgrade modern vocational schools.In this thesis, the domestic and international research results of culture, culture of class, and culture of classroom are firstly introduced. The importance of the classroom culture construction of middleclass vocational schools is then analyzed. It is realized that the classroom culture construction is the key for the middleclass vocational schools to improve the classroom teaching and achieve the goal of education for employment.Secondly, the current status of the classroom culture construction of the middleclass vocational schools is analyzed through various approaches such as experience, reflection, interviews, and literature. The results prove though certain achievements have been made in the classroom culture construction in recent years, there are still many shortages.Finally, this paper focuses on how to construct the classroom culture of the middleclass vocational school: to fully understand the importance of classroom culture; to establish the principle; to change the teacher's idea; to organize the classroom teaching according to the characteristics of middleclass vocational schools; to build up a scientific classroom teaching evaluation system; and to adopt the credit system etc. |
