A Study On The Problem Of Vocational School Recruitment In Siyang Prefecture In North Jiangsu Province

With the development of the market-directed economy, a new problem appeared recently on how to recruit for the secondary vocational schools in the less-developed area of northern Jiangsu province. It is also a key problem connected with the survival of the secondary vocational schools. The paper concluded the experience of the author in the secondary vocational schools for ten years and the study in East China Normal University. In the paper, the author tried to discover the essence of the recruitment, analyze the position and the reasons and then solve the problem.The paper can be divided into the following sections:Chapter 1 Introduction: take Siyang as an example, at first, I discussed the political background of the transmission of the rural labor force, the background of the difficulty in secondary vocational schools and in the less-developed area of northern Jiangsu province. Then I came up with the purpose and the significance of the article and some related documents. At last I came up with the study concepts and methods of the article.Chapter 2 Present situation of the recruitment in Siyang secondary vocational schools. At first, I introduced the survey of Siyang. Then with the research, I registered the phenomena in recruitment. At last I discussed the present situation by analyze the reduce of the students number and the confusion of recruitment.Chapter 3 The reason of the difficulty in secondary vocational school recruitment. There would be two reasons: internal and external reasons. The internal reasons include the influence of the policy, the traditional views and the local conditions. The external reasons include the individual influence to the secondary vocational education and some problems existed in the secondary vocational schools.Chapter 4 Countermeasures of the recruitment difficulties. There would be macro-lay and micro-lay. The macro-lay include the reform of the government directions, labor market and the recruitment. The micro-lay include the following advice:â‘ secondary vocational schools should find their own orientation and brand;â‘¡the professional abilities of the students should be improved;â‘¢the recruitment and the employment should be extended to improve the competitive power of the secondary vocational schools.In general, the recruitment problems of the secondary vocational schools should be solved especially in the less-developed area of northern Jiangsu province in order to develop the vocational education.
