Nowdays, " home_school cooperation" has become an international trend ,many countries use a lot of methods to intense the contact between homes and schools . Whether parents effectively support schools' education for their children directly affect education results. However, " home_school cooperation" in primary and middle school of our country falls behind of the need of the new situation seriously: parents and teacher have great different education concepts and they don't have a strong cooperative cultivation consciousness; the contents of home_school cooperation are very narrow and shallow; the communication channels are few and not continual; organizations and agencies are not consummate; laws and regulations are not perfect. All of these have set a great barrier for our home_school cooperation in primary and middle school. So under this situation, how to carry out our home_school cooperation in primary and middle school and how to utilize home_school cooperation are the main problems in my paper.So the paper chooses American home_school cooperation in primary and middle schools as subject. Since American home_school cooperation in primary and middle schools has a long history and rich experience. From the "Female Public School Federation" founded in 1841, home_school cooperation has come through more than one hundred years. So far it has a perfect system guard,standard organizations , it forms wide and deep cooperation contents, parents take an active and effective part in school education. Although there are many differences in culture and tradition between America and China, they have the same realistic need, so it is very important and necessary to learn from America home_school cooperation.Based on the description of development of home_school cooperation, this dissertation shows the practice by literature analysis. It focuses on practical significance. This paper has five parts. The first one sorts out the history of home_school cooperation. It emphasizes the society and history reason behind home school cooperation. The second part analyzes the theories of home_school cooperation. The third part represents and analyzes the practical operation of American home_school cooperation in primary and middle school from system safeguard, organizations, contents and ways. The fourth analyzes the effect of American home_school cooperation in primary and middle school; The fifth provides some constructive suggestions: Formulate relevant laws, regulations and policies; establish a nationwide home_school cooperation system; change both parents and schools' concepts, conduct the training on home_school cooperation.
