By the coming of the knowledge-economy time, new ideas of knowledge and learning are springing up vigorously. New ideas of knowledge oppose looking the knowledge as unalterable truth and separating the knowledge from human. They think that the knowledge is not only the traditional tacit knowledge but also the uuencoded tacit knowledge. And new ideas of learning oppose one-side accepting learning and mechanical instilling knowledge. They stand for person's subjectivity and inquisition in their study, and advocate making research learning. The tacit, personal character of tacit knowledge make it must have a sustained creating and conversion to realize more effectiveness. And the realization of research learning's results depend on person's inner resources to research learning and the latter is an important means to the farmer's creating and conversion. Then how to optimize the creating and conversion of the tacit knowledge through taking advantage of research learning is a new problem before education management.This study solves the problem through four fields. First, the study combs out the relative study of research learning and tacit knowledge to confirm their close contact. The second, the study delineate the education value of optimizing the creating and conversion of tacit knowledge in research learning, and reveal it's objective, that's realizing quality-oriented education, improving the students' structure of knowledge, realizing 'student solicitude' education, and strengthening the students' main place. The third, the study analyses the prerequisite of optimizing the creating and conversion of tacit knowledge in research learning. The conclusions indicate that there is immediate basis, necessity and feasibility to optimizing the creating and conversion of tacit knowledge. Finally the creating and conversion of tacit knowledge is a complex problem. Based on synthesizing discipline knowledge of management, education, psychology, sociology, the study advance kinds of means and measure through optimizing the study environment, utilizing the study methods, improving the organizational form, scientifically setting up the objective of research learning. From those means we can promote the creating, conversion and sharing of the students' tacit knowledge.
