Preliminary Research On The Development Of Intelligent Teachers

Nowdays, our society is experiencing great changes .The world is entering asociety which takes intelligent and creative person as the essence of the society .Theneed of intelligent person in the 21st century is the need of educational wisdom , alsois the need of intelligent teachers. Only the intelligent teachers can train the studentsto gain the wisdom, thus can answer the new challenges of the 21st century. Theteacher professional development is appealing to the intelligent teachers , too. Theeducational wisdom of the intelligent teachers is the symbol of the high level of theteacher professional development .The process of enhancement of the teacheroccupation professional standard is the process of the abundance of the educationalwisdom .The true aim of the education is to illuminate the children ' swisdom ,develop the children's imagination, apprehension and the ability of makingjudgement. However, today's education is becoming simple knowledge-giving ,thebrain of the students is becoming"the storeroom"of the knowledge ,and the teacher isbecoming"the porterage worker"of the knowledge. To return to the original aim ofthe education also appeals to the intelligent teachers .Wisdom is an ancient and long-term concept. It is an adaptable and advancedmethod of mankind which involves to understanding , practice and life .Wisdommakes the life in the world attain the highest purpose and it indicates the person whoknows how to live better . So we can say wisdom concerns the value of life and themeaning of life .The educational wisdom is a character of good education , appearingto respect life ,concerning personal character and pursuing the state of life happiness.Intelligent teacher is a teacher who has higher level of educational wisdom .Intelligentteacher not only has the educational tact of resolving educational problems andoccasional troubles , but also performs the strong pursuit of life meaning : they canmake themselves break away from the ground of hard work ,reflect themselves by themomentary behavior. With the wisdom both the teachers and the students feelcomfortable and happy, especially the teachers .The intelligent teacher knows thateducation is for the existence of the person ,so they can acquire the occupation valueand the happy feeling .The intelligent teacher has the following characteristics. Firstly ,it is thepersonalized education conviction which lies in the core position of the teacher'soccupation quality .Secondly , it is the teacher's personality . One scholar has saidthat the intelligent teacher is a teacher of personality in fact .The teacher's personalityis far more important than the knowledge that he has taught :Love andconcern ,disinterested , dedication and so on .The personality of the intelligent teacherplays an important role in developing the students'personality .Thirdly ,it is theability of innovation and creation .Education has the most occupation of creation .Theintelligent teacher carries on the labor of creation in ordinary work ,acquiring thepassion, joy and happiness .Having the philosophy brains and the ability of beautyappreciation are also the important characteristics of the intelligent teachers. How does the intelligent teacher grow up ? The strategies are :to renew the educational ideas comes the first ,including new education view ,new relation view of the teacher and student ,and new teacher developing view. Second ,to accumulate the learns by means of reading ,study and writing .Third ,to carry on judgementary reflection and research .last ,to practice in the fulfillment. The factors that affect the development of the intelligent teacher contain the internal ones :the teacher′s educational idea ,the teacher's virtuous condition and the teacher's ego effect feeling .The exterior factors are :the tie of many kinds of system ,the management atmosphere of the school and the teacher's evaluation system etc .The paper employs the investigation and interview method, as well as the case approach .I hope to make the paper have realistic feeling . Because of my teaching experience in a middle school before , I also hope to discover a"road''leading to the intelligent developing for the primary and junior school teachers .
