Teacher as the spark plug in the development of education, their contribution is very important to impart knowledge and skill, and foster adequate personality of student. Recent years, people gradually realize the key role of teacher in education and teaching, also in the reform of education. But teacher is used to be regarded as a whole when people mention them, and neglect the difference between new qualified teacher and expert teacher, they are inclined to believe that the process which new qualified teacher nurture is natural. In fact, the first few years of teacher's career are not only the critical period for they adapting themselves to teaching, but also the critical period that affect their tendency of profession. The first few years of teacher'career also decided whether they will teach for life and decided their professional makings. New teacher is the disadvantaged group in teacher group; it has a great influence on their future professional development quality, and then influences the increase of the whole teacher group's makings and smoothness of educational reform if they can't receive timely and effective help. At present, people have not a sober and profound opinion on the stage that new qualified teacher should stay.The thesis discusses the mechanism of culture new qualified teacher to be practical on school lay is on the basis of discussing the particularity of the stage which new qualified teacher stay and utilizing experience abroad through the methods of the literary reviews, questionnaires, interviews and analysis of the texts. The thesis has four parts:In the introduction, the author proposes the problem of new qualified teacher training and the significance,the definition of new qualified teacher, the aim and methods of the study. The first part, an overview of new qualified teacher training, illustrates and furthermore analyzes the present situation of new qualified teacher training home and abroad.In the second part, the author makes a practical analysis of new qualified teacher training in China. Generally speaking, we still have a long way to go to make our new qualified teacher training to an ideal status.The third part illustrates the construction of new qualified teacher training mode in primary and high school from four perspectives. First, emphasis should be laid on the theoretical study of new qualified teacher training. Second, we should launch a training of the new qualified teachers. Third, plans should be developed to help the new qualified teachers, for example, making full use of the roles of tutor and the headmasters, adopting the video to help the teachers to reflect on their teaching. Fourth, the evaluation system of the training plans of newly-started teachers is introduced, including the evaluation of the new teachers and the evaluation of tutor.
