this essay commences with the analysis of promotive effect on introspection in teacher's professional development and highlights the subjective function of the chemical teachers via a lot of teaching cases to demonstrate how to do the introspection of their teaching, including the article structures, classification, source of inspiration, writing styles and how to improve the ability of introspection. On the base of reference to relative documents and the combination of personal teaching experience and management practice, with the known conclusions from peers this essay tends to pop some characteristic opinions in the hope of breakthrough and innovation. For example, the introspection is the starting point and the effective method to realize the teacher's professional development; the teaching process is the starting point and goal of the introspection; the teaching introspection can be divided into comparison, optimization, favorable condition orientation, innovation and sublimation etc; the inspiration is based on the questions and experience activated from the pursuit of excellence, desire of communication, and hope of study and appreciation; the reports of the introspection can be of teaching diaries, thought after the teaching, teaching stories, teaching plans, educational jottings and periodical summaries. In addition, this essay also quotes some of the opinions of typical teaching introspections to illustrate my ideas.
