Nowadays, the new curriculum reforms are developing deeply, and the improvement of information technology has made the studying way changes much. In the new curriculum standards, mathematics curriculum design and implementation of the modern information technology should be emphasized clearly. A man's knowledge about the information is required much more in this Information Age.Under the background of promoting inquiry learning, mathematics inquiry-learning aided by information technology has been concerned by mathematics educators increasingly. This article is about the historical background, the present development, the relative theory and the conditions of inquiry learning. It also presents the statistics of the experimental data and the results of the elementary research. It introduces the actual operation of different target levels, representation and practicality in detail as well. The main types of the teaching design include: 1.To inquire the unchanged law of a dynamic geometric pattern by using the Geometer's Sketchpad; .To optimize he learning process by using Geometer's Sketchpad; .To explore the nature of function by using the Geometer's Sketchpad; 4. To inquire the laws of series by using EXCEL2000; 5. To study probability and statistics by using EXCEL2000; 6. To study the procedures of algorithm by using EXCEL2000.The main direction of this article is: To breakthrough the traditional classroom teaching; Using information technology as the students'learning tools; To realize the inquiry learning pattern which adopts the New Curriculum Reform, and the inquiry learning as the main line under the information technology based learning environment in junior schools.
