"Ordinary senior curriculum should strive to explore the different forms of automous learning and activities, let students experience the process of mathematical discovery and creation, to develop their innovatiive consciousness", as emphasized in The Senior Mathemaics Curriculum Standards (experimental draft),which was published by the National Ministry of Education, on April2003. Besides, it also stresses that the curriculum should promote the organic integration between information techonolgy and curriculum content, whose principle is to help students well recognize the essence of mathematics.Based on the curriculum standard, this study focuses on the inquiry learning on senior-three mathematics. This study develops in the perspertive of the integration between modern information technology and senior mathematics curriculum and in the perspertive of being senior mathematics teachers as well as the perspertive of the author’s teaching practice. Combined all of these, this study aims to be innovative.This paper begins with the discussion of some related theories such as the inquiry learning, information technology, constructivism learning theory and the Hans Freudenthal’s mathematics education theory, then comes the analysis in both teaching and learning, combining the teaching practice of modern information technology with inquiry learning on senior-three mathematics.Then the results are concluded by experiment. The experimental results show that, the inquiry learning can improve the students’ ability of solving problems in senior-three mathematics classroom teaching,by means of information technology, it also has a positive effect on the research apart from cultivating students’ thinking ability,inquiry ability and innovation spirit. This not only can provide senior-three mathematics teachers with evidence in practice, but also certain reference value for the further promotion of senior-three mathematics inquiry.
