In recent years, the community is concerning that learning and life of young people has been strongly influenced by computer games. On the one hand, people fear that computer games has a negative impact ;on the other hand , people think it warmly welcomed by students. Experts presented a theory that some elements of games should introduct into the activities of teaching. Then educational games rised. Educational games give information technology education some new elements. Educational games will stimulate students'interest in learning and develop students'inquisitive capacity. Also, students release their oneself in the games screen. Thereby, educational games will enhance the quality of learning and learning efficiency.In junior middle school education, with the basic education curriculum reform is deepening, it is be found that the traditional methods of teaching can not meet the new curriculum ideas of education, and can not stimulate junior high school students'interest in learning. Educational games included education potential so that educational games can provide a new approach for the promotion of basic education reform.In this paper, firstly ,a hypothesis is supported, which educational games will be used in junior middle school education so as to educational games can bring all potentialities into full play ,for basic education curriculum reform education; Secondly, by analyzing foreign cases that educational games successfully applied to secondary education, experience of application in educational games is given Chinese junior high school; Thirdly, according to junior high school students'physiological characteristics and psychological characteristics and junior secondary teaching content, it's necessary to apply educational games in junior middle school education ; Fourthly, from the teaching reality, an investigation was made on feasibility of educational games in junior middle school education, and an analysis on an investigation was made; Fifthly, the investigation and the results of the analysis, be summarized as :To apply educational games in junior middle school education is feasible, but is feasible with very limited space. Finally, in the light of information technology in education trends, it will be believed that the role and status of educational games will become increasingly important and application of educational games will be more in-depth, broader and more appropriate in junior middle school education.It is hoped that this paper will provided reference and help for people concerning educational games and concerning junior middle school education.
