On the basis of modern technology, advanced educational theory serves as a guide for modern education, which depends on advanced equipments and utilizes new concept and technology to build new educational institutes and nurture new students.At present, Advanced educational equipments and environment are the key of implementing the educational ideas.In the course of the development of geographic education in middle-school from 1904, both educational theory and practice improve at a rapid rate. However, Ability of practice has become the bottleneck of the comprehensive development of students, and needs to be paid attention to.Referring to lots of papers and combining both the author's educational experience and the investigation about requirements of educatee, this article presents the histroy, the function and the need of multifunctional geographic laboratory, analyzes the construction of multifunctional geographic laboratory, and brings up some ideas of multifunctional geographic laboratory, considering the practical condition of our school.Consequently, Multifunctional geographic laboratory has an essential funtion to bring up the comprehensive ability of students, and is a very important part of constructing the modern enducational environment.
