Research On The Problems And Countermeasures In The Construction Of Primary School Science Laboratory

The primary school science course is a basic,practical and comprehensive course,which advocates the cultivation of students' scientific literacy in the process of scientific inquiry.The strong practicality of science curriculum in primary school determines that the laboratory is the important place for students to study science.As the primary school science laboratory is an effective solution to improve the students'scientific literacy,the National Ministry of Education and the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education have issued some documents,which provide important reference for each primary school to better build standard primary school science laboratory and improve the management of primary school science laboratory.Therefore,more guidance to the construction of science laboratory is an important way to reform the science course,improve the quality of science teaching and promote the all-round development of students.The thesis used research methods such as site survey,questionnaire and interview to investigate the status of construction and management of the five primary school science laboratories in H Town of Zhongshan City.The survey results show that there are some problems in the construction and management of the scientific laboratories of the five primary schools:1.The construction of laboratory rooms has not fully met the standards,the equipment are not scientific and the laboratory funding is insufficient;2.The attribution of laboratory management is unreasonable,not enough attention is paid to experimental safety and the system management is not perfect;3.The experiment opening rate is not high,the construction of science teachers is unreasonable,and the professional skills of science teachers need to be improved.In order to improve the primary school science laboratory construction and management,some advices are provided:1.It must be ensured that pay more attention to the science course and the science laboratories in primary school;2.It is necessary to build a scientific primary school laboratory according to the local conditions,try to build a comprehensive experimental environment,standardize equipment management and increase the fiscal investment.;3.It is needed to improve the management organization,establish a scientific management systems and focus on the safety management;4.It is needed to promote the teaching quality,build a high-quality team of science teachers and offer more training.
