With human entering the twenty-first century-the knowledge economy times, the society attaches more and more importance to the full-scale development of human which demands that people should possess not only competitive ability but also cooperative and communicative ability, and the core of the full-development of human is to cultivate people's main body. As participatory instruction emphasizes the students'full-scale participating and pays attention to developing main body in teaching, it becomes an important teaching strategy of realizing people's main body. Today, participatory instruction makes people pay more and more attention to it, and the new curriculum reform in our country also advocates the participating initiatively, exploring pleasantly, practicing frequently, so that we can cultivate the students'ability in all aspects.In this study, I have investigated the students and visited the leader of three public schools and two private schools in SuQian municipality Jiangsu province. In investigation, I have handed out 500 questionnaires and regained 427 effective questionnaire, and by statistics analyzing, I have gained some valuable data. In additional, this study explored the participatory teaching implication, the origin of participatory teaching idea, the form and the characteristic of participatory teaching, disclosed the standpoint of participatory teaching, explored the effective tactics for practicing participatory teaching, analyzed the existed problem in participatory teaching and looked into the future of the participatory teaching by contradictory analytical method, logical analytical method, documentary analytical method, comparing study method, etc.Of course, this study only made preliminary discussion for participatory teaching, and many aspects of it need to study deeply. In fact, because participatory teaching has very important meaning not only in theory but also in practice, it will be attached more and more importance to by people, be studied more deeply, and it plays vital role for educational teaching theory and practice.
