Research Into Sino-foreign Cooperation In Running Schools Under The Circumstances Of Globalization

The Sino-foreign Cooperation in Running Schools,(SFCRS) which emerged in early 1980s and gradually developed at the beginning of 1990s,is a new phenomenon in the educational field and a new educational form since China's reform and opening-up. SFCRS has achieved rapid development in the past decade and has produced a new setup for our higher education together with public and private schools. Nowadays SFCRS has become one of the most important forms of international cooperation and communication for China's education. Especially after China's entry into WTO,SFCRS has put profound impact on meeting people's various demands in education and promoting the process of China's higher education toward the outside world. Therefore we are firmly convinced that SFCRS will gradually expand wider and develop further along with the process of internationalization of China's higher education.This essay first reviews the developing history of SFCRS,describes and analyzes the present development and characteristics of SFCRS on the basis of its history. Secondly it clarifies,collects and summarizes the existing problems in SFCRS,meanwhile it conducts further research into the internal and external reasons for the existing problems by means of documentary analysis,personal interview and case investigation.There is no doubt that the present SFCRS programs have developed very fast and totally advanced the development of our higher education ,bringing about a promising future for us. However more different phenomena and problems have also appeared accompanied with its rapid development,which have deviated from the initial goal and the managing orientation of SFCRS. Without immediate curb and settlement,these problems will become increasingly apparent and will bring about more negative influences. This essay demonstrates particular analysis and description and conducts elementary research into the existing problems so that we can hope to draw much attention from the managements and school runners in order to pose proper suggestions take effective measures to cope with the problems .
