Along with the further promotion of the reform of the new English curriculum, teachers who are taking an active part in the reform gradually practice group Cooperation Learning method in their class. By doing this, teachers have changed from a single speaker to a director, participant, and cooperator of the classroom teaching and learning, while students have become the master of their studies, who can now decide how to learn and what they expect to learn. And also students can enjoy the pleasure of success of study through interactions, co-operations and sharing the task, sharing their materials and ideas with their teachers and classmates. The implementation of group cooperative learning method, however, requires that teachers have deep understanding of interaction in the classroom, introduce right study strategies, master enough connected knowledge and so on. Since classroom interactive cooperation can arouse students' enthusiasm to their studies and make up the indispensable part of the classroom activities, Cooperation Learning has got the unprecedented place in nowadays teaching, and is used as a most significant interactive way in the teaching process. Besides Cooperation Learning can bring energy and fresh air to the students as well as the modern teaching system, which provides broader stage for the modern teaching to perform on. Therefore, it promotes us teachers to have a clearer picture of teaching, lightens both teachers' and students' burden, enhance the students' participating and improves the teaching effects.This article begins with the analysis of the New Junior English Course Standard, elaborates its basic concepts, then points out its characteristics and features explaining that the latest English text book is good for Cooperation Learning in many ways. Next, the article lists several main supporting theories on Cooperation Learning so as to identify it scientific and feasible. In this case, we can see obviously its popularity and feasibility, thus it's high time for us teachers to discard the backward or unsuitable teaching patterns and procedures, but to adopt the Cooperation Learning method and put it into practice heart and soul. Then the article describes in detail the stages, the ways, the procedures as well as the strategies that it can promote teachers with fine instructions in their teaching. Finally, the article ends up with one of the author's teaching example to show that we should promote Cooperation Learning and it really benefits both teachers and students.
