The moral education of teenagers has always been an important subject which is concerned and studied by the educators of basic education at home and abroad. Chinese-language teaching has its own particularity and advantage as a mother-tongue. Therefore, how to give full play to the function of moral education in Chinese-language teaching should be given enough study by Chinese teachers in high school.In recent years, great progress of Chinese-language teaching has been made by the force of curriculum revolution, however, quite a few shortages in moral education while teaching Chinese-language still exist, such as politicized and idealized tendency of moral education, neglect of the principle of"Text Carrying the Way"and lack of emotion education, which to some degree affected the whole function of Chinese-language teaching. In view of this situation, from various aspects, such as the contents and requirements of moral education, based on the surveys of 300 students from local Chinese high school, Korean high school and Combined school, this dissertation analyzes the present moral situation of the students and the moral education in Chinese-language teaching. The basic concept of the dissertation is that the"Text Carrying the way"function should be given full play in Chinese teaching by which the moral level of the students can be improved, the ways and resolutions can be found from both Chinese-language teaching and Chinese extracurricular activities. In addition, it demonstrates the requirements of moral, psychological and knowledge accomplishments of Chinese teachers, which will contribute to the moral education in Chinese-language teaching.
