Teacher professional development is the main aim of the reform of teachers'education,school-based research is a helpful pathway of promoting teachers'professionalism development.School-based Research means more important and special significant to promote teachers'professionalism development at minorities regions.From the perspective of teachers'professional development,through the spot investigation,the study makes some helpful work of school-based research according to the case study about S middle school in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.The author sums up the experiences,finds out the problems and also gives some suggestion on how to promote the professional development of teachers well in minorities regions,from school-based research.The thesis has seven parts:The first one is Introduction.The author introduces the study-background of this question,the value and main hypothesis of the study,the process and method of the study.In the part two,the author analyses the theoretic point and the status of study,relating to the thesis.It includes the parts of the definition of teachers'professional development,the definition of school-based research,the teachers'professional development and school-based research.The third part is the process of investigation.It includes introduction of main circumstances of the study-object,and the problems of teachers'professional development in S middle school,and the progress of school-based research in S middle school.The part four is about the impact of school-based research to teachers'professional development.The school-based research transforms the educational and teaching thoughts of teachers,and improves the level of teachers'knowledge and skills,and strengthens teachers'consciousness and capability of study.In the part five,the author analyses the problems of school-based research in S middle school.It includes the views of school-based research need to be further developed; the system of school-based research is imperfect; the perspective of school-based research is narrow and problems concerning the forms.In the six part,the author gives some suggestion. Change teacher's thoughts,and correct the views of school-based research; Strengthen the institution,and promote the standardization of school-based research.Enrich the form of school-based research with the reform of new curriculum and provide the protection of sprit and material with improving the condition of school at minorities regions...
