In our country now, the implement of three-level curriculum management system makes teachers become one of the corpus of curriculum development, and it also provides rare opportunities for improving teachers' professional character, which could be possible only through teaching at school, because teachers handle most work in the School-based curriculum development. They are cores. So, it means that the development of school-based curriculum also is the process of the teacher's professional development.At first, chapter 1 gives an overview about all. It puts forward the creative places and valuable theories based on the analysis of shortage of researches ago. The second, in Chapter 2, it makes a boundary for some key words in this research. Meanwhile, it also elaborates theories on the relationship between school-based curriculum development and the teachers' professional development.From 2001-2006, our school, NO.3 middle school of ZhenJiang began to develop school-based curriculum, based on the topics:《How to build the junior school-based curriculum system on housewifery under the direction of Tao Xing zhi》,《The development and study on living education and living science》,which are two of national topics. More than 90 teachers of our school, who were divided into ten groups, attended those topics. As one of teachers, one of managers in our school-based curriculum development, the writer had a deep feeling about Teachers' professional development. Through our practice and research, it proves that school-based curriculum development can extend the teacher's professional knowledge, improve the teacher's professional technical skill and spirit, which perfect our educational theories more, and affords some reference for ail teachers.
