Although Chinese classical poetry teaching is an important part of Chinese teaching, carrying out of it, in high schools at present is not optimistic. As we are concerned, out-dated teaching concepts, mono-teaching-method and low efficiency of teaching can neither arouse students' interests to learn classical poetry, nor explore the beauty of classical poetry, which leads to the failure of education of classical poetry. Due to this, this paper puts forward the point of teaching classical poetry at high school. Teaching with aesthetic ways is an educational idea whose pursued educational process is a piece of perfect artwork, which aims at improving students' aesthetic ability and humanity quality, so as to exploit their mental world to develop as an individual, which also accords with the New Curriculum Standards. This paper dissertates from teaching with aesthetic ways, the necessity and feasibility of teaching classical poetry with aesthetic ways, and the detail carrying-out of it. Focusing on methods and ways of teaching classical poetry with aesthetic ways, this paper aims at changing low-efficiency of high school classical poetry teaching, arousing students' enthusiasm to learn classical poetry, so as to build students' faith on traditional culture and improve students' aesthetic ability to appreciate poetry, to develop as an useful individual.
