The theories of motive are very import. We should use them to instruct teacher's teaching. In the new reform of curriculum, our country puts forward the quality education. The educators should pay attention to students, future and development. With the development of quality education, the abuse of traditional education is increasingly obvious. The history education faces the challenge.Based on the theories of motive and how to use them to instruct teacher's teaching, this article starts to discuss. The first part: Explain the concept of motive and motive theory. The second part: State the category of motive. The third part: I study the present situation and investigate students. The forth part: I point out the way and measure. It points out that the history teachers should change their roles in order to stimulate the motive of students efficiently. At the same time, the teacher must understand students'demands and interests create a safe, trustable and favorable learning atmosphere.We should place the history teaching in a kind of harmonious and loose environment, use of various teaching methods and means, and stir the students'interest and motive. During this course, we can make students grasp the history knowledge, shape the thoughts and feelings set up the right standpoint and foster the creative ability. Maintaining students'psychological health is important to keep students'history study motive. This is the clue and conclusion of the paper. Finally, the article introduces some advice, so we should attend to them.
